Start with the address, then choose the transport
Planning becomes easier when you know the full destination address. A hotel near a station creates different needs from an address involving a longer walk or several connections. Consider the last part of your journey, not only the route to Zurich's main station. Think about how you will carry your luggage over that final stretch and whether everyone in your party is comfortable with it.
When public transport can work well
If you travel with manageable luggage and some flexibility, public transport can be part of your plan. Check current connections, tickets and service changes directly with Zurich Airport and SBB. Older travel articles should not be the reference for the fare or timetable of a specific journey. What matters is the connection available on your actual travel date.
A taxi or a transfer arranged in advance
A taxi can make sense for a direct journey if you prefer to organise it at the airport. With a private transfer requested in advance, you discuss the destination, vehicle and pickup before landing. The right choice depends on how much you want settled beforehand and how much coordination your party needs. Compare the complete service rather than a single headline price.
Information that helps with pickup
Have your flight number, arrival date, destination address and a reachable phone number ready. State the passenger count and describe the number and size of your bags. Scheduled landing time is not necessarily the moment you will be at the meeting point with your luggage. Agree a realistic sequence and tell your provider about changes to your travel plans.
Travelling as a group
A shared vehicle for your own party can simplify coordination. Consider seating and luggage space separately. At BK Limousine, Mercedes-Benz vehicles for up to three, six or seven passengers are available to enquire about. Suitability is discussed in relation to your group and bags. Visit our airport transfer page if you would like to plan your arrival personally.
Plan your journey
Official travel information
Zurich Airport: train, tram and bus
SBB: timetables and journey planning
The route: Zürich Flughafen → Zürich HB
The airport gives a train journey of around 15 minutes to Zurich’s main station. Check the connection for your travel date with SBB. If your hotel is outside the main station area, include the onward connection or walk in your plan.
Arrival 1 or 2: distinguish the meeting points
Official Airport Taxis use the inner curbside lanes at Arrival 1 and 2. For a transfer arranged in advance, use the meeting point personally confirmed with your provider. Share the arrival area, flight number and any changes; do not assume a particular exit without checking.

Turn your arrival plan into a specific destination
For a journey into the city, see our Zurich destination page for details to include with your address. The hotel transfer page covers coordinating arrival and collection at your accommodation.
Before enquiring, compare seating and the published luggage capacities of our Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Describe any unusual luggage separately.
